HOW CARMINE FALCONI TOOK DOWN GANGSTER WHORE FISH MOONEY,IN GOTHAM.

FOX has announced Monday, September 22,as the premiere date for Gotham, this year's most anticipated new TV drama. This prequel series explores the extraordinary good-versus-evil struggles in broken Gotham City; a city that's the birthplace of the world's most infamous criminals and legendary superheroes. The origin story featuring DC Comics super-villains and vigilantes, reveals an entirely new chapter that's never been told before - before Batman, there was Gotham.
Gotham will premiere on FOX on September 22 @ 8pm. From executive producer/writer Bruno Heller (The Mentalist, Rome), this one-hour drama follows one cop's rise through a dangerously corrupt city teetering on the edge of evil and chronicles the genesis of one of the most popular superheroes of our time.
With a reputation synonymous with law and order, Commissioner James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) is one of the crime world's greatest foes. Everyone knows the name. But what is known of Gordon's rise from rookie detective to police commissioner? And what did it take to navigate the layers of corruption that secretly ruled Gotham City, the spawning ground of the world's most iconic villains – the larger-than-life personas who would become Cat-woman, The Penguin, The Riddler, Two-Face and The Joker?
Brave, earnest and eager to prove himself, the newly-minted detective Gordon is partnered with the brash, but shrewd police legend Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue), as the two stumble upon the city's highest-profile case ever: the murder of local billionaires Thomas and Martha Wayne. At the scene of the crime, Gordon meets the sole survivor: the Waynes' hauntingly intense 12-year-old son, Bruce (David Mazouz), toward whom the young detective feels an inexplicable kinship. Moved by the boy's profound loss, Gordon vows to catch the killer.
As he navigates the often-underhanded politics of Gotham's criminal justice system, Gordon encounters imposing gang boss Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith), and many of the characters who will become some of DC Comics' most renowned and enduring villains, including a teenaged Selina Kyle/the future Cat-woman (Camren Bicondova) and Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor).
Although the crime drama follows Gordon's turbulent and singular rise through the Gotham City police department, it also focuses on the unlikely friendship Gordon forms with the young heir to the Wayne fortune, who is being raised by his unflappable butler, Alfred (Sean Pertwee) – a friendship that will last them all of their lives and will play a crucial role in helping the young boy eventually become the crusader he's destined to be

WARMED OVER NEWS-ARE THE BIG TV NETWORKS' ON-DEMAND SHOWS, FORCING YOU TO WATCH THEIR COMMERCIALS?

It looks like the networks have finally found a way around making viewers notice their ads, by disabling the fast forward key on the remote control- altogether.

Whenever you order a show on NBC,you are NOW warned at the beginning. the fast forward mode will not work with this show. ABC and FOX recently added their show to the listings, and now promote this same message. Only CBS (for now) has the fewest ads and will allow you to fast forward any part of the programs.

Time Warner cable subscribers have been given no reason, for why they can't use the fast forward key. The networks are keeping very quiet, about the new revelation for viewers. If something isn't done by viewers, this could infect some affect cable channel aligned with their sister networks (USA, MTV,Lifetime, FX;etc.) Will viewers have to go to Congress to get their fast forward buttons back? What's next, the off button?

SIMON COWELL FINDS IDOL "JUST DREADFUL," ENOUGH TO LEAVE. HE'LL START THE X FACTOR IN 2011(ISN'T THAT AMERICA'S GOT TALENT?)

Tony Cowell, the author and brother- of the caustic bastard, said Simon is preparing a press release- to confirm his departure of America's # 1 show, after this season. This is after failing, in repeated attempts to get current host Ryan Seacrest fired.

Cowell is determined to get the Factor on, because he would host and be the key judge, even though the format doesn't differ all that much from Idol or Talent.

Simon Cowell told Fox TV head executive Peter Rice about this, two months ago. At that time, he said he'd like to start taping Factor episodes "in Los Angeles in September 2011 for broadcast on Fox." Fox PR dept. refused comment, about the Idol overseas statement.

VARIETY CONFIRMS THAT FOX TV- WILL DEMOLISH ELISA DUSHKU'S DOLLHOUSE.

The network's decision to pull the show for Nov. sweeps, seemed unmoved by adding Summer Glau from the failed Terminator series and unwillingness to plug the show, even by viral video- sealed its fate.

Creator Joss Whedon, is making a last ditch effort to sell new episodes of show to the SyFi channel, as Dushku's last show, Tru Calling is a cult hit, there.

Dollhouse should return on December 4th. The network "is currently producing the...11th episode and Dollhouse is expected to finish up its 13-episode order." Whedon is also trying to get a pulled show from last year broadcast, in the Brothers/Til Death, slot- as insides sources stated- no one is watching those "turds" either.

All known episodes (13) will be broadcast. The last show will solve all the mysteries of the classy, sleaze palace of the the rich and/or evil. The sources claim- that Elisa D's meta alter ego-violently slutty, hipster Echo, may not even survive once the house is finally torn down.

RYAN SEACREST, THE NEW LITTLE BIG MAN IN PRIME-
Lilo to create the next For Love or Money.

Power Host Seacrest, has signed a new deal "on contract extension with Idol co-producer 19 Entertainment to continue to emcee the top series on TV."

His new three year deal, will continue to drive nemeses, Joel McHale and Kathy Griffin, green with homophobic envy-as he earn $45 million for taking shit from Simon Cowell. This raise "makes him one of the highest-paid reality hosts on television."

He only earned $5 million (this season) for his Idol work- around $100K an episode. The deal continues the host's challenge to produce a hit show, that's half as popular as TV's 8000 lb gorilla.

Meanwhile, Lindsey Lohan is ready to take charge- Sandy Bullock style- as she launches a chance "to create unforgettable TV and movie content with a new production company."Lilo and her 6126 brand co-owner Kristi Kaylor, (titled from Marilyn Monroe's birthday,) have started Unforgettable Prods.

First up, is a reality show, Faux Real, an Entourage for the fashionistas. Then, a big money,in-studio, dating game show "tentatively called That's What Friends Are For and then this "docu-cause" TV program that will made into "a charitable organization."

JOSH JACKSON AND TROY BEAUTY- TO MOVE IN TOGETHER.
From People Magazine.

Bring on the boxes and packing tape, Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger
are moving in together.

Fringe star Joshua Jackson says that he and girlfriend Diane Kruger,
for whom he has the pet name "Mrs.," are planning to settle down as
his hit FOX series relocates to Vancouver from Toronto. Jackson tells
Entertainment Tonight Canada that he needs to find a place to stay,
and he and Kruger have "already made the commitment to do this
together."

For now the two keep track of each other from far apart cities by
phone, text messaging and video chats, which Jackson, 30, prefers
since, "you're there and you can see the face and you can see the
sarcasm."

Meanwhile, Kruger, 32, who is appearing in Inglourious Basterds with
Brad Pitt, recently mentioned that she and Jackson want to have
children. His take on it? "Eventually I hope so," he says, with an
additional message for Kruger's mother: "I know you don't speak
English very well, but somebody should translate this for you 'Don't
worry, you're not about to become a grandmother.'"

WANDA BACK AT LARGE ON FOX.

-The sapphic comic to get Sat. late night show, as a test for a weeknight slot.

Broadcasting Cable.com has confirmed the show for Jan 2010 at 11pm. The hour program will ape Bill Maher's current HBO format, rather than do another Leno/Letterman retread.

The Idol network has cancelled- the Best of Mad TV, thereby putting ne'er do well, Spike Feresten on notice- to shape up or ship out. Fox was unmoved by his anemic performance, of his brief "trial run at 11."

The fourth network will limit its appeal to Saturdays for now, unless they find the "right talent" to reattempt a weeknight show, and network execs maybe leaning toward Sykes. Also, the inside sources claimed, the triple minority status of Sykes- gives Fox a chance to cultivate good will with two different audiences, normally shunned in late night.

Later.
