Team owners have apparently broken talks with the players union, which could lead to a lock out destroying the widely profitable and popular pastime.
"150,000 workers will feel the impact. Stadium employees will be jobless. Staff at sports bars, restaurants and hotels, police officers and others who work supporting the game also will be hurt. In all, $4.5 billion dollars in revenue will disappear from 32 cities around the nation."

JORJA FOX LEAVING LAS VEGAS!
-Quits #1 Crime Drama, due bad contract talks this summer.

"Jorja Fox, who has played Sara Sidle on "CSI: Crime Scene
Investigation" since it first aired in 2000, is leaving the show after
this season's seventh episode in November. Fox's departure comes after a
less-than-promising stretch of negotiations, though her character did
survive last season’s cliffhanger on last week’s season opener."

UGLY BETTY STAR FORCED INTO PANTS FOR SEQUEL.

America Ferrera, due to a pre-existing sequel option in contract, shall be forced to star in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, along with Alexis "Gilmore Girls/Sin City" Bidel, and Amber Tamblyn (Beloved, but departed Joan of Arcadia.)

The Warner Bros. movie will begin filming in June, when her show is on hiatus. It's considered a first since, since most modern chick flicks rarely get follow-ups. Ferrera will get top billing, when she was third after the title- in the first film.
