IS LADY GAGA TRULY READY TO PLAY HARLEY QUINN?

IF Margot Robbie could sing, she would have been in this project. That could've created a DC sub universe where Joker & Suicide Squad reign. However, Lady's best work has been the Star Is Born remake & is too consumed with her  burgeoning career.

The rest of her film work is fine, but Sin City 2 flopped,Machete KIlls:

she was a part of a role

played better by other more prominent actors.

House of Gucci was her

second best performance,but

played like an extended satire of TV’s Dynasty.

The trailer shows her- giving it her all,but lacks the clever, sleazy flair

of the comic books and what Robbie does well

about the persona in droves. Feminist sadist rage at war with bubbly personality, that just wants to be desperately loved.

She doesn't fight (so far)  or wear those trashy elegant costumes that Gaga herself is known for wearing. Except, in Chicago-like dance numbers that play like media parody, which means this playing out in the villains’ minds,as a coping mechanism for being stuck in Arkham Asylum. So far that’s the really cool & sad part of the epic. Since that’s what most real people do, to escape the ho hum data of their lives.

This will probably work at the box office, but unless Oscar comes a calling and shows up for Gaga, Robbie won't be replaced any time, as the sexy court jester for crime.

THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS 2- RELEASED ON DVD AND CD TODAY.

Back Lot Music has released the soundtrack for THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS 2, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment's action-adventure film starring RZA.  The album features 23 new score cues by RZA & Howard Drossin as well as 4 songs featured in the film.  THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS 2 releases today – day and date with the soundtrack album – on Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital HD.
Drossin and RZA's acclaimed scores to The Man with the Iron Fists and its sequel are mash-ups from the start. They incorporate Hip-Hop, Stax and Asian instrumentation, with a 70's sensibility that pays homage to many of the scores from that era which they both admire, including old Kung Fu films and the Shaw Brothers' films.
Drossin has been scoring films since the late 1990's. He has collaborated with Terence Blanchard for over 10 years, orchestrating film scores like Inside Man25th HourRed Tails, Black or White and his Grammy-Award-Winning A Tale of God's Will. Drossin continued that collaboration on "Champion," an 'opera in jazz' commissioned by the St. Louis Opera.
RZA is a Grammy® award-winning music producer & recording artist, BAFTA nominated film composer, actor and director. He's one of the most prominent figures in hip-hop music and the creator/producer of the Wu-Tang Clan. He has an extremely distinguished body of work in music scoring for filmmakers such as Ridley Scott, Jim Jarmusch and Quentin Tarantino. He recently scored the Emmy nominated American adaptation of the Japanese anime "Afro Samurai", executive produced and starring Samuel L. Jackson. Most recently, RZA won a Grammy for producing songs for Kanye West's My Crazy Twisted Dark Fantasy and the Jay Z/ Kanye collaboration album Watch the Throne.
About the Film Thaddeus (RZA) is back in this explosive action adventure inspired by Kung Fu classics.  A reluctant villager joins forces with a mysterious outsider to fight off powerful evil forces, both earthly and otherworldly, in a 19th century Chinese mining town. When a stranger, Thaddeus, is found badly wounded near the village, miner Li Kung (Dustin Nguyen) and his wife Ah Ni (Eugenia Kang) offer him refuge. As he heals, he becomes entrenched in a conflict that pits the townsfolk against the evil Master Ho (Carl Ng), his nefarious Beetle Clan and the terrifying Lord Pi (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa). With Thaddeus at his side, the mild-mannered Kung transforms into a deadly warrior in this martial arts epic.

WASHINGTON D.C.'S NEWSEUM, SELLS OUT TO ANCHORMAN RON BURGUNDY.

From PRNewswire:

The Newseum will open its highly anticipated "Anchorman: The Exhibit," featuring props, costumes and footage from the comedy classic "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy." The exhibit, created in partnership with Paramount Pictures, opens just weeks before the film's much-awaited sequel "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" hits theaters on Dec. 20.

Visitors to the exhibit will be greeted by an 8-foot-tall revolving display case featuring the iconic burgundy business suit worn by fictional newscaster Ron Burgundy, played in both movies by actor Will Ferrell. More than 60 costumes and hilarious props from the movie will be on display throughout the exhibit, including Ron's "I'M #1" license plate, jazz flute and mustache brush.
The exhibit also features costumes and props from other members of Ron's Channel 4 news team, including suits worn by reporter Veronica Corningstone (played by Christina Applegate) and sports anchor Champ Kind (played by David Koechner) and the Sex Panther cologne used by reporter Brian Fantana (played by Paul Rudd). The stuffed prop version of Ron's dog Baxter, wearing Channel 4 pajamas, and the eyeglasses worn by weatherman Brick Tamland (played by Steve Carell) are also on display.

The movie tells the story of how a 1970s-era macho news team responds when an ambitious female reporter arrives in the newsroom with her sights on the anchor chair. "Anchorman: The Exhibit" explores the reality behind the humor of "Anchorman," and tells the story of the challenges women faced when they arrived in newsrooms. A Newseum-produced film features interviews with 1970s news anchors Connie Chung, Maury Povich and Melba Tolliver and news executive Al Primo, who is credited with revolutionizing broadcast news with the Eyewitness News format, which created teams of reporters and brought women and minorities into prominent roles in the newsroom. In addition, local TV news promotional ads from the 1970s will be on display along with photos of popular news teams of the day.

In December, the Newseum will host two events featuring stars from the "Anchorman" films. On Dec. 3, Will Ferrell will appear at the Newseum for an invitation-only event to discuss "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues." On Dec. 17, actor David Koechner, who stars as Champ Kind in both "Anchorman" movies, will make a special appearance at an advance screening of the new movie. Tickets to the screening went on sale to the public in October and sold out in less than week.
Also on Dec. 17, costumes and props from "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" will be unveiled in the exhibit, days before the sequel opens in theaters.
Visitors to the exhibit can see if they have what it takes to be a member of the Channel 4 news team, with Ron Burgundy providing intros to the Newseum's popular Be a TV Reporter experience, and budding news anchors can have their photos taken behind a replica of the Channel 4 News desk.
"Anchorman: The Exhibit" will be on display at the Newseum through Aug. 31, 2014.
