THE MOST FAMOUS OF THE ANGELS HAS RETURNED HOME-FAWCETT PASSES AWAY.
In Los Angeles-around 9:30 am, Farrah Fawcett, "whose stunning looks and blinding smile made her a pop icon of the 1970s, has died. She was 62." Paul Bloch, Her spokesman, stated she "died, Thursday morning at a Santa Monica hospital." The near 3 year battle with her evil cancer, was depicted in the docu-reality show Farrah's Story.
She rose to fame and wealth, "in 1976 as one-third of the crime-fighting trio in the" legendary faux-feminist action series, Charlie's Angeles. The popular poster of Fawcett "in a clingy" one-piece "swimsuit sold in the millions."
She left the show after one season, due to contract negotiations that went sour.She turned to more serious roles in the 1980s and 1990s, winning praise playing an abused wife roles The Burning Bed and Extremities. In the '90s,She made cameo roles with her ultimate boyfriend, Ryan O'Neil on the Larry Sanders show and attempted a sit-com with her enduring lover called Good Sports.
