Alvey, concerned that Nate will not find his rhythm as an MMA fighter, is blinded by his failing relationship with Lisa and the loss of their infant son. Ryan accepts a challenge that will test not only his physical endurance but also his relationship with his best friend. Nate is eager to get back into the cage to prove that he has what it takes to make it as a fighter. Jay faces another opportunity to defend his lightweight title despite his battle with addiction. Lisa's return puts both Alvey and the Navy St. MMA gym at stake.
During the 2nd half of season 2, which is currently airing on AUDIENCE Network every Wednesday 9 p.m. ET/PT, boundaries and relationships are being tested. Nate is ready to return to the cage to prove that he's still a viable fighter. Ryan continues to demonstrate his dominance at the gym while Nate attempts to drag Jay away from his new life with Ava. Alicia faces a career-defining decision that will alter her relationships with everyone at the gym. Alvey is stuck in a predicament with his connection with Roxanne and Lisa's return to Los Angeles.  Strength and stamina are put to the ultimate test when Jay and Ryan are faced with a rematch, fighting for the title of the lightweight belt.

From PRNewswire: This summer VH1 brings viewers "Hit The Floor" (formerly "Bounce") a new dramatic scripted series that asks the question: How much are you willing to sacrifice to make all your dreams come true? The series follows the alluring lives and loves of the Los Angeles Devil Girls, the premier dance team in all of professional basketball. The series will mark VH1's second foray into the hour-long scripted series genre. "Hit the Floor" stars Dean Cain, Kimberly Elise and Charlotte Ross.
The series also features newcomer Taylour Paige in a starring role. "Hit The Floor" premieres on Monday, May 27 at 9PM ET/PT. "Hit The Floor" explores the sexy world of professional basketball and the dancers who make the fans (and players) go wild. The Los Angeles Devils are the number one team in the league.
When the arena lights go on all of Hollywood comes out to support the million dollar players. But in this city these men share the fame, adrenalin, money, sex and power with their dancers, the Devil Girls.
At the heart of "Hit The Floor" is Ahsha (Taylour Paige), a sheltered young woman who joins the team against the wishes of her mother Sloane (Kimberly Elise), who knows this treacherous, tempting world all too well having been a Devil Girl herself. Olivia (Charlotte Ross) is the shrewd squad manager, Jelena (Logan Browning) is the ruthless, star captain who won't let anyone else share the spotlight and Pete Davenport (Dean Cain) is the former All-Star who's come back to coach his old team only to have to contend with the girls both stealing the spotlight and distracting his players.
All the while, the mystery surrounding the disappearance of missing Devil Girls dancer Mia threatens to blow the roof off the entire L.A. Devils organization.
The cast includes: Dean Cain, Kimberly Elise, Charlotte Ross, Taylour Paige, Logan Browning, Valery Ortiz, Katherine Bailess, Jonathan McDaniel, McKinley Freeman, Rob Riley and Don Stark.

"Hit The Floor" follows in the successful primetime heels of VH1's first hour-long scripted series "Single Ladies," produced by Queen Latifah's Flavor Unit and Maggie Malina which premiered in May 2011.
"Hit the Floor," (previously known as "Bounce") was created by James LaRosa who also serves as Executive Producer of the series along with Maggie Malina and Bryan Johnson. VH1's executives Jill Holmes and Jeff Olde are Executive Producers on the project. The pilot episode was written by James LaRosa and directed by Sanaa Hamri.
