VH1 TURNS LEANN RIMES AND EDDIE CIBRIAN, INTO A REALITY SHOW.

LeAnn Rimes And Eddie Cibrian Are Bringing What You Think You Know -- And What You Don't -- To VH1

Gurney Productions Of 'Duck Dynasty' Fame Will Produce The Series Which Is Set To Premiere Fall 2013/Winter 2014 With 6 Episodes.

From PRNewswire-- LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian have both been famous in their own right for years, but it wasn't until they were a couple that the tabloids became enamored with their every move. Joining forces with VH1, their new show will bring the truth and make fun of all the gossip. "LeAnn & Eddie" (working title) is set to premiere on VH1 in the Fall 2013/Winter 2014 with 6 half-hour episodes.

Multiple Grammy Award-winning artist LeAnn Rimes first burst on the music scene at the age of 13. Since then she has gone on to sell more than 40 million albums, has scored 13 Top10 hits and has won numerous music awards. Her latest album, the critically acclaimed "Spitfire," debuted at number 9 on the Billboard Country Charts and number 4 on iTunes. Eddie Cibrian is a versatile actor who got his start in daytime television but moved to primetime with the hit series "Third Watch."  Since then he has gone on to star as a lead actor in various television series, including "Invasion," "The Playboy Club," "CSI Miami" and "Tilt" among others.  Mr. Cibrian has also starred in numerous films including "Living Out Loud," "Good Deeds," "But I'm A Cheerleader," "The Cave," and the upcoming movies "Single Moms Club," and "Best Man Holiday."

Inside the sanctity of their world they are a typical normal modern family -- a married couple, who both have careers and are also learning how to navigate the co-parenting of Eddie's two sons. Life outside the home for them is very different because they live in a fishbowl where the paparazzi stalk them, the tabloids report on any detail and the public gets only part of the real story.  With "LeAnn & Eddie," they look forward to sharing a bit of their world and poke fun at what it's like to be a high-profile couple with more than a little misinformation out there about them.

"We are really excited to be working together on a unique show that will give you a glimpse into who we really are or better yet who we're really not.  We're thrilled to partner with VH1 and The Gurneys to put our spin on a project full of love, humor and music," said LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian.

"LeAnn and Eddie are both talented entertainers who have really captured the public's imagination in the last couple of years, but there is so much more to them than what you read in the tabloids," said Tom Calderone, President of VH1.  "This is going to be a really fun show in which we hope to reveal what their lives are really like - from the normalcy of their home life, to what drives them artistically, to the chaos of their celebrity life."

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian will also serve as executive producers for Country Cuban Productions, Inc.  Also serving as executive producers are John Ferriter for Octagon Entertainment and Scotty Abrams for Maniac Filmworks and Music.   Executive producing for VH1 is Jill Holmes.

SHARK TANK OFFERS OVER $500K IN LAST WEEK SHOW. From Sony pictures TV Last Friday's episode of Sony Pictures Television's hit ABC reality series, SHARK TANK, emerged as the #1 show among Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54, and hit new Friday night highs among Men 18-49 and Men 25-54. The Sharks engaged in a series of tough negotiations with entrepreneurs, making investment offers totaling $650,000 -- bringing the season-to-date total of investment offers from the Sharks to over $2.5 million. After a heated battle between real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran and fashion and branding expert Daymond John, Queenie Davis and Andrew Goodrum from Rochester, NY, received an offer from Corcoran for $100,000 in exchange for 55% of her innovative shoe accessory, Boot Illusion. The add-on can turn any shoe into a boot. Corcoran then partnered with billionaire Mark Cuban to offer Fleetwood Hicks from Dallas, TX, $500,000 in exchange for 42% of his business, Villy Customs. The bike is designed on an interactive website making each one distinctly individual. Additionally, James Pittman from Buena Park, CA, turned down Corcoran's offer to invest $250,000 in exchange for 50% of Airbedz, his custom made air mattress that fits in the back of a pickup truck. Also, in a follow-up story, Shelly Ehler from Ladera Ranch, CA, was interviewed about the success of her ShowNo towels. The unique towel design provides coverage when changing out of a swimsuit in public places. With Lori Greiner's investment earlier this season, ShowNo is now available in Walt Disney World's two water parks in Florida. Entrepreneur and the inventor of Rollerblades, Scott Olson, from Waconia, MN, was unable to convince the Sharks to invest in his newest invention, Skyride, an elevated mono-rail bike system. Tune in to ABC on Friday, May 11 at 8 PM ET/PT when investors Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Kevin O'Leary, Robert Herjavec and Daymond John as they face a new round of entrepreneurs including two college students from Eugene, OR, who started their flavored peanut butter business from their dorm room; a music producer from El Segundo, CA, who wants to convince the Sharks to add a rock band to their portfolios; two guys from New York with what they believe is the next big trend in swimwear – interchangeable bikini wear; and Billy Blanks, Jr., the once-homeless son of Tae Bo legend Billy Blanks, from Canoga Park, CA, asks the Sharks to invest in his and his wife's dance fitness program designed for all ages, shapes and sizes. Additionally, in a follow-up story, Steve Gadlin from Evanston, IL is interviewed about his I Want To Draw A Cat For You drawing business, which Mark Cuban invested in earlier this season. The panel of five Sharks hears pitches of the best business and product ideas from some of America's brightest entrepreneurs. When the Sharks hear a great idea, they're ready to fight each other for a piece of it. If and when the Sharks are confronted with a really top-notch idea, and more than one of them wants to sink their teeth into it, a war between them can erupt.

THOSE JERSEY SHORE BASTARDS AND VILE TEEN MOMS GIVES MTV HUGE NUMBERS,NOT SEEN IN 10 YEARS.

NEW YORK, Dec. 21, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- MTV, a division of Viacom Inc. (NYSE: VIA and VIA.B), concluded 2010 with a 16% year-over-year ratings gain (P12-34), the network's largest annual increase since 1999, and with its fourth consecutive quarter of growth. For the final quarter of 2010, MTV's ratings grew 24% over the same period last year as the network posted gains across all key day parts.

The year-long ratings gains were fueled by MTV's diverse programming slate of hit reality series, new scripted comedy and live award telecasts. Excluding sports, MTV nabbed all 20 of the top 20 cable telecasts of the year among P12-34, topped by the "2010 Video Music Awards." Further, MTV secured eight of the top 20 original cable series of the year, including the top two spots with "Jersey Shore" (#1) and "Teen Mom" (#2). In addition, MTV's sibling network MTV2, which has the highest concentration of young males on TV, had its best year ever, up 4% over 2009.

MTV's dramatic growth extended to the online space. With more than 57 million unique visitors according to comScore Media Metrix numbers (November 2010), the MTV Music Group experienced 200% year-over-year growth, making it the #1 destination for music.

"In 2010 we've seen enormous ratings growth as a result of the process we began almost two years ago to reinvent MTV for a new generation," said MTV General Manager Stephen Friedman. "We continue to rally the organization around a new brand filter that is clearly gaining traction with the millennial audience as we see broad-based ratings gains across our programming lineup. We look forward to a strong 2011 when we'll further diversify our lineup with new scripted series 'Skins' and 'Teen Wolf' alongside returning hits like 'Jersey Shore' and 'Teen Mom 2."

ADDITIONAL KEY LINEAR HIGHLIGHTS FOR 2010 INCLUDE:

"Jersey Shore," MTV's most-watched series ever, more than doubled (+119%) its season one average (5.7 vs 2.6)
Season two of "Teen Mom" saw ratings increase 57% over season one's average (3.6 vs 2.3)
The "2010 VMAS" delivered a 10.0 rating (P12-34) and 11.4 million total viewers, making it the #1 cable telecast of the year.
MTV's original comedy series "The Hard Times of RJ Berger" culminated with season-high ratings of 1.3 (P12-34) and 1.3 million total viewers, up 20% from the season average
